The CABI app began as a
passion project between two lifelong best friends who shared not only a
deep bond but also a common goal: to solve the growing challenges of
urban mobility. Both had experienced the frustrations of daily commuting—
from unreliable taxi services to congested traffic and unclear fares. In their
countless conversations, they realized there was a better way to connect
passengers, drivers, and the transportation system. It was in one of these
discussions that the idea for the CABI app was born.
One friend was the visionary. He had always been a dreamer with a sharp
eye for spotting big ideas that could change how people lived and worked.
He believed technology could transform traditional taxi services and provide
seamless transportation solutions. The other friend was the implementer, a
practical problem-solver who understood how to turn ideas into reality.
Together, they made the perfect team. Both were true risk-takers, willing to
take the leap and pursue their bold idea, despite the uncertainties ahead.
They shared a common mission: build a platform that could fix key problems
in the taxi industry, benefiting passengers, drivers, and even the city’s traffic
system. They wanted to ensure passengers had a safe, affordable, and
transparent way to book taxis while helping drivers maximize their earnings
and avoid long, unproductive hours searching for passengers. They also saw
a larger opportunity to reduce traffic congestion by optimizing taxi routes,
making travel faster and more efficient for everyone, while cutting down fuel
consumption and pollution.
